Science experiment! Composting bottles: Balloons are inflated by gases released from bacteria decomposing fruit scraps!
Bottle 1 (yellow balloon): banana peels and banana pieces
Bottle 2 (orange balloon): orange peel and pulp
Results: The
orange peel and pulp is decomposing at a much faster rate than the banana releasing
ethylene gas! Due to the higher moisture content than the banana; which
bacteria is attracted to and thrives in best.
